Description de l'hôtel / Hostel Equity Point Marrakech, Riad AmazighLa majeure partie de la description des hôtels a été effectuée par son propriétaire lui-même Hostel Equity Point Marrakech, Riad Amazigh, Marrakech, Maroc
If you find yourself lost upon arriving in Marrakech, just look at the locals with a lost face, you'll see that they will automatically point you towards Plaza Djemaa el-Fna, without a doubt, the very centre of Marrakech. Barely 300 metres away, the new Equity Point Marrakech hostel appears like a sanctuary for travellers, with 4 to 10 bed dorms, doubles and singles. No detail or decoration has been forgotten. Its rooms have full bathrooms and exquisite furnishings, sofas, cushions, mirrors and paintings. Impressive common areas have provided to unwind from the frenetic pace of the city whilst getting to know people from all over the world. At night you will be able to enjoy the peace and silence of the Riad's softly lit inner courtyard, or if you prefer, take in the amazing views from the rooftop terrace while enjoying a beer or refreshment from the bar. Rachida, our expert Moroccan cook, can prepare you amazing traditional meals. The Equity Point group has put all its experience into the design of this hostel to set the standard in the city for travellers who are searching for a unique and authentic experience. The city of Marrakech combines perfectly the increasing modernity visible in the new city, with one of the most emblematic historic centres of the world. The new surrounding areas, tourist centres, stores and big avenues like Mohamed V are strikingly contrasted with the old walled city and the Medina, where time seems to have stopped some centuries ago. The endless labyrinth of the "Soug" market streets north of the Plaza Jemaa el-Fna and all its hustle and bustle, the narrow streets and frescoes where only lost tourists looking for their riad and the odd cat break the silence. Let yourself be seduced by the contrasts, colours and smells of the Medina. Immerse yourself in the fascinating activities taking on the mythical Plaza Djemaa el-Fna, the only place in the world where every day of the year you can find snake charmers, dozens of stores selling fresh juice, restaurants, bars, musicians, traditional water-sellers and acrobats. The Equity Point group welcomes you to its newest destination city, we hope to be able to share it with you soon. Rachida, Yamila, Nadia, Ahmed, Fouzia and Lluc are waiting to receive you.-Persons under the age of 18 years are only allowed to stay in private rooms or dormitory rooms that are booked for use of one family or group of persons, and can not share dormitory rooms with other guests. People under 18 years old must travel with their parents or legal tutor.-Todos los menores de edad no pueden acceder al albergue si no viajan acompañados de sus padres o un tutor legal. Todos los menores de edad solo pueden alojarse en habitaciones privadas o en dormitorios reservados únicamente para el uso del grupo familiar.
Comment se rendre à l'hôtel - Equity Point Marrakech, Riad Amazigh HostelThree minutes by foot from the Djemaa el-Fna in the heart of the souks, Equity Point Marrakech is in the noble part of the Medina: Mouassine. It's not difficult to get to the hostel, however we are in the center of the old Medina of Marrakech, and this means: winding streets, lots of lefts and rights, and until you get used to it, most of the streets might look very similar to one another. We believe that with these indications it will be easy to find us, however if you feel lost, you can always ask someone from a shop or in the streets (they will probably walk you to the hostel but they migh ask for a small tip: 20DHM). Everybody knows us: ask for Equity point in the Mouassine and people will help. FInally you can always give us a call, and we'll pick you up.DIRECTIONS:From Djemaa el-Fnaa:The easiest way to get to the hostel is from the famous Djemaa el-Fnaa square. Ask your cab driver to leave you at the "Café Argana". However if you arrive by bus, or the square is closed to the cars you'll have to walk a little bit. Look for this cafe, or ask someone to show you the way to it. It's located in one of the corners of the square.Facing the cafe, take the street right next to it on your left, very soon you will get to a small square or open space, cross it and take again the street on your left. Pass through the arch and you'll be in Mouassine street, this is a fairly wide street (for the Medina standards), with shops left and right. Walk down this street soon on your right you'll see a small corner shop called 'Fnaque Berber' just passed it there's another arch, walk through it. After more or less 100 meters you'll get to another open space (or a place where the street gets wider), once you're out there look on your right and you'll find a small arch. Our street starts there, and you can read it's name in a sign on top of the arch: 'Derb Laghnaiz Lamouassine'. Pass through the arch and walk down three steps. You're almost there. This street ishas no shops and in most parts it's roofed. We can give you two ways of getting to our door:1- Walk and don't leave the wall on your left. after 50-60 meters of walking down this winding street, you'll find a door with our name on it: 'Equity Point'2- After the arch walk 17 steps and turn right- then walk 8 steps and turn left- 30 steps and turn right- 8 steps and turn left- walk to the end of the alley, the beautiful door you see in front of you its's ours. Number 80. Welcome!!From the airport, you can either take the bus or a cab, the bus will leave you at the Djemaa el-Fna square, and if you arrive by train at ONCF train station, take the bus number 8 to Djemaa el-Fnaa square. From 10am to 9pm, taxis or cars are not allowed to drive through Djemaa el-Fna square, the square is huge so you can choose to cross it and then follow the indications above or else ask the cab driver to leave your at Bab Ksour. From Bab Ksour:Once you are there, pass through the arch, and follow the street "Rue Side el Yamani" during aprox. 5 minutes, this is a calm street with not many shops. After a while though, the shops will start, and very soon you'll find a street on your right, it's Mouassine street, don't take it. Just right after you've left this street behind, your street will begin to have a roof, keep on walking and a few more steps ahead you'll see the entrance of a mosque on your right, keep walking straight ahead. After a few more steps you will be in an open space, now you're almost there. On your left there's a street, don't take it. On your right there's an arch, this is the beginning of our street: Derb el Hamman, you can see the sign on the right of the arch. In this street there are no shops: - after you pass through the arch go straight ahead 45 steps (aprox) and turn left.- walk 20 steps more and turn right- 7 more steps and make it left- 50 more steps and turn right- 30 more steps and you're there. Door number 80. Welcome!! |
